Emily graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2009, where she worked for several years before moving to the Midlands where she lives locally.

Emily is a caring dentist who has an approachable and reassuring manner. She appreciates the importance of feeling valued and being listened to.

Since graduating, Emily has passed examinations to become a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) of the Royal College of Surgeons. She has been involved in training newly qualified dentists as well as gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Education (with Merit) from Sheffield Hallam University. In 2021 Emily began teaching the undergraduate dental students at Birmingham University.

In 2014 she gained an IV sedation qualification. This has complimented her calm nature and she has treated many anxious and phobic patients with IV sedation since then.

More recently, Emily has completed a postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry which has further refined her clinical skills.

Away from dentistry, Emily enjoys cold water swimming, cycling in the Worcestershire countryside and spending time with her young family.
